Vampires were a planned playable race, now only seen in concept art.
Vampires have long been persecuted, both by Humans and by Saris. As the only race with two enemies, they have adopted a style of architecture that is quite large, emphasizing defense. They build with black rock. Their "blades" are either steel or copper, and are invariably rusted, scratched, or otherwise weathered. The blades are always a single piece, with no rivets or other obstructions. Their towers are usually several levels high, and frequently possess windows to allow quick escape (in bat form, of course). Doors are always metal, ranging through steel, brass, and copper.
Although the exterior of Vampire structures are rarely decorated, the interiors are said to be quite exquisite. Vampires take great pride in their retreats, and often adorn their building interiors with rare pieces of art, unique tapestries, and antiques.
