The Siege of Aughundell was a horrible time for Dwarves, despite what some of the others may say. Many of us were slain in battle, and many more died of starvation or disease. Throughout it all, the warriors of the Iron Guard held back the Withered Aegis, and the Armorers, myself included, worked feverishly to keep their armor in tip-top shape. Have you heard of the day that Aughundell nearly fell? Yes, my friend, what a day that was! The Withered Aegis counter-attacked with a force led by a particularly evil minion of the Aegis named Sulthas Boneripper. His forces made it to the tunnel itself before they were stopped and eventually thrown back! I do not know if this Sulthas lives to this day, but he is one of our most hated enemies. |
