Tools are used by bipeds to gather resources, refine them into usable materials, and then create finished products. Tier 1 though 6 Tools are made from metal, stone, or wood by Blacksmiths or Tinkerers. Metal tools can also be made by Weaponsmiths and Fitters, wood tools by Fletchers and Carpenters, and stone tools by Spellcrafters, Scholars, and Masons. Training tools are given out by Craft School Trainers. Refurbished tools can be purchased at some imperial vendors and are given out by the craft trainer on Spirit Isle.

Techniques[]
There are many techniques that can be applied to tools but generally only the crafting and the statistic techniques are useful. The most common one applied is the Tool Socketing technique because it allows the use of crafting cogs, which tend to give better skill boosts than the craft techniques although they add a level requirement.
Tiers 1 and 2 may have one technique applied, Tiers 3 and 4 may have two, Tiers 5 and 6 is allowed three.
